..............Halloween is over, the candies are chewed and swallowed and digested. The decorations have been replaced by Christmas lights and the anticipation is beginning to tug at your heart strings.
What is on your agenda for Christmas? The season of joy and hope for some but sorrow, lonliness and fear for others.
Who will you decide to help this Christmas and whose life will you make brighter..Will you help the Salvaton Army ring in funds to help the less fortunate, will you fill a choe box and bring joy to a needy child or will you go shopping and buy yet another pair of shoes or another sweater and add it to a closet is brimming with more then you can wear.
Will you sort through those treasures and give something away to help a need.
There is still time, the season is just beginning.
Be creative, make a Christmas Card, sew some pj's for a little one, bake a chritmas cake or join a choir to bring the warmth of music with the good news of the birth of Jesus Christ. He is hope to a world looking for something lasting, something that is free, a hope to wipe away tears and lonliness from faces filled with pain. Call out to Him because He will never disappoint You because He is your Hope.

Clay and Contemplation
Today my frustration turned to joy.
After slapping, pounding, kneading and talking to about 6 pounds of clay. (that's alot of clay)
I managed to make a large 6 inch by 11 inch bowl.
Something that I have attempted to do but until this point without success.
Wow,, I was amazed. Where did those muscles come from? They must be in there somewhere.
One day this bowl will go back to dust just like all of us.
Where will you be leaving your dust?
I am planning to leave that old earthdress covering behind and rejuvinate my dust from earthly muck to a spiritual body.
I love the word eternity, even though we become frail and feeble, (not a pleasant thing to contemplate)...the choice is purley ours.
Where are you planning to send your old dress or pants when they are no longer needed in this world.
Have you done something beautiful today for yourself or for someone else ? We all need to vent a little frustration in a good way. A good way is to bring someone joy.
Let the artist in you take note.

Frustrated Artists
Any frustrated artists out there that want to encourage each other ?
Looking for you. Speaking the truth in love is a good beginning when it comes to good critique.
What is your passion and how are you inspired to get out of bed every day to pursue what you love to create...be it poetry or fine art, weaving or pottery....
What brings you hope that we are not just the forgotten few and who are you really doing this for?
Are you ready to give praise to whom praise is due for creating you just how you are made?
Are you pleased with your accomplishments and are you willing to share them?
Talk to me and give me your thoughts.
Glimmergirl.
