Be delightful.

In this cold, snapping winter time of the year, when spring has announced it's arrival but does not want to come, we just hang on. As rain and sleet pelts us when we just want to feel warm and sit by the fire-place, we try to imagine how the robins must feel. Maybe looking for worms under the snow and freezing their poor little feet is not what they wanted out of life but yet they hang on.

We know that a little sunshine brings new life and energy to our bones and our faces change from being grumpy to beaming beauties.

At times all of us need our spirits to be rescued from the drudgery of the cold grey that holds us captive and like the winter with it's frosty waves of ice we will eventually thaw out. Sometimes we need to sow a few good deeds for others and the sunshine of new love will warm our hearts enough to drive away the blues and make our little world bigger. Just like the robin, finally finding his nice juicy worm and calling his mate to share in his bounty; we can also become more content with our own lot in life when we focus on others rather then just little old me. Just because those rose colored glasses can become heavy when they stay on our noses too long...
